Si informa che dalle ore 20:00 del 12 febbraio 2026 fino alle ore 02:00del 18 febbraio 2026, il sistema operativo VIS sarà interessato da un fermo operativo temporaneo.
Si tratta di un intervento tecnico programmato e urgente che comporterà la momentanea sospensione delle attività di ricezione e trattazione delle domande di visto, nonché quella di emissione di visti d’ingresso. Tale sospensione riguarderà l’operatività sia dell’ufficio visti dell’Ambasciata d’Italia Doha che dei centri gestiti dall’outsourcer VFS Global.
Si informa che, al fine di ridurre al massimo il disagio dell’utenza, gli appuntamenti già fissati sono stati riprogrammati nei giorni immediatamente precedenti o successivi al periodo interessato dal fermo operativo, tenendo in debita considerazione le necessità prioritarie e i casi di urgenza.

NOTICE – Temporary shutdown of the IT system for the processing and issuance of entry visas
Please be informed that from 8:00 p.m. on 12 February 2026 until 2:00 a.m. on 18 February 2026, the VIS operating system will undergo a temporary shutdown.
This is a scheduled and urgent technical intervention that will result in the temporary suspension of activities related to the receipt and processing of visa applications, as well as the issuance of entry visas. The suspension will affect the operations of both the Visa Office of the Embassy of Italy in Doha and the centers managed by the outsourcing provider VFS Global.
In order to minimize inconvenience to applicants, appointments already scheduled have been rescheduled to the days immediately before or after the affected period, with due consideration given to priority needs and urgent cases.
