His Highness the Emir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani was welcomed in Rome for a three-days State Visit, the highest possible honor for a foreign Head of State. His program included meetings with the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and many other primary Italian institutions. The accompanying delegation engaged in top-level contacts with their Italian counterparts and it included Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
