SDA Bocconi School of Management and Josoor Institute launch in Doha Professional Diploma Programs in Sports Management and in Major Events Management

 

SDA Bocconi School of Management, the leading School of Management in Italy and among Europe’s most renowned institutions, and Josoor Institute, the Qatari center of excellence in sports and events industries, started a partnership aimed at promoting managerial excellence in the field of sport and Events Management in Qatar and in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Josoor Institute, inspired and developed by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy in Qatar, will provide two new Professional Diploma Programs in Sports Management and in Major Events Management, designed to enhance the knowledge and skill sets of those interested in pursuing a career in the Sports Management or Events Management field or who already work in these dynamic fields.

SDA Bocconi, the main academic partner of the initiative, will offer executive education and organizational oversight to Josoor Institute for its two flagship professional Programs, managing the development and delivery of program contents and the selection of faculty.

The partnership will promote and disseminate innovative managerial knowledge about sport and events management and will develop highly-qualified individuals and teams from Qatar and Middle East and North Africa, also in view of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™.

The partnership will continue until 2022 and the first edition of the programs will take place from March 2019 to December 2019.
