The Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force, H. E. General Enzo Vecciarelli, went on a brief mission to the State of Qatar.
Accompanied by the Ambassador of Italy, H.E. Pasquale Salzano and the Defence Attaché, H. E. Colonel Maurizio Patané, General Vecciarelli visited the Doha Airforce Base – where he met the Commander for the QEAF, H. E. Major General Mubarack Al Kayarin – and the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at the Al Udeid air base, where several Italian soldiers are deployed.
Here, General Vecciarelli, was received by H.E. Major General Joseph Guastella, Commander of U.S. Air Forces Central Command in Southwest Asia.
