April 28th, 2022, 10.30am (Qatar hour)Italian Research Day 2022<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cA new approach for a new world.<\/strong> organized by the Embassy of Italy, Qatar Environment & Energy Research Institute (QEERI) and the City of Milan<\/strong><\/p>\n On the occasion of the Italian Research Day, the Embassy of Italy in Doha along with the Qatar Environment & Energy Research Institute (QEERI) and the Environmental Directorate of the City of Milan, have organised a webinar titled \u201cA new approach for a new world. Eco-sustainability and environmental transition between research and practice<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n By presenting innovative projects and methodologies, developed both in Qatar and in Italy, the purpose of the webinar is to initiate a dialogue on new initiatives in the field of energetic efficiency and environmental transition. It will represent an exchange of good practices on various issues, starting with the crucial one of the diversification of energetic sources, functional to the redefinition of the urban spaces of our cities based on the criteria of sustainability and efficiency, now more than ever topical in administrative action and infrastructural planning.<\/p>\n In the words of the Ambassador of Italy to Doha, Alessandro Prunas: \u201czero emissions, carbon neutrality, air quality and building efficiency \u2013 continues the Ambassador \u2013 are all themes whose topical dimension is now more than ever in the spotlight. This must therefore be considered not only as a subject of academic analysis but also as a matter of current administrative policies and urban planning.
