Embassy of Italy<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n DOHA<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n The Ambassador of Italy to Qatar,<\/p>\n – having considered the opportunity of reaching out for sponsorships for the organization of the celebrations of the Italian National Day which on the 10th of May 2018;<\/p>\n – considering his intention to offer to interested subjects the possibility to sign with the Embassy of Italy to Qatar contracts of sponsorship aimed at the publication of their logos or promotional messages on advertising spaces related to these event;<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n ANNOUNCES<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n This public notice for the selection of sponsors for the organization of the Italian National Day in accordance with the following terms and conditions:<\/p>\n 1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SELECTION<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n Public and private subjects having the following requirements are admitted to submit the expression of interest for the sponsorship:<\/p>\n 1. Inexistence of conditions of impossibility to bargain with the Public Administration as well as inexistence of any other situation considered by law detrimental or limitative of the bargaining capacity (art. 80 D.Lgs. 50\/2016);<\/p>\n 2. Inexistence of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings (in case of companies or enterprises).<\/p>\n 2. OBJECT<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n Applications can regard sponsorships of financial nature and in-kind (direct delivery of services or furnishing of goods). It is also possible to submit applications providing both forms (in part financial and in part technical).<\/p>\n The Italian Embassy may plan the presence of different sponsors to finance the initiative. The sponsorships offers are not to be considered binding for the sponsor for the purposes of formalization of the contract.<\/p>\n Three types of sponsorships are provided, for which it is considered the possibility of adjudication to more than one sponsor:<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cPLATINUM\u201d SPONSOR\u201d<\/strong><\/span>\n<\/p>\n Sponsorship of at least 40.000 QAR or in-kind equivalent<\/strong>, which provides:<\/p>\n a) visibility for the company logo, as \u201cPlatinum Sponsor\u201d, on the Embassy of Italy\u2019s website, namely in the news related to the event; \u201cGOLD SPONSOR\u201d<\/strong><\/span>\n<\/p>\n Sponsorship from 20.000 to 40.000 QAR or in-kind equivalent<\/strong>, which provides:<\/p>\n a) visibility for the company logo, as \u201cGold Sponsor\u201d, on the Embassy of Italy\u2019s website, namely in the news related to the event; \u201cSILVER SPONSOR\u201d<\/strong><\/span>\n<\/p>\n Sponsorship up to 20.000 QAR or in-kind equivalent<\/strong>, which provides:<\/p>\n a) visibility for the company logo, as \u201cSilver Sponsor\u201d, on the Embassy of Italy\u2019s website, namely in the news related to the event; \u00a0<\/p>\n For further information we invite you to contact the Offices of the Embassy of Italy to Qatar at the following address doha.ambasciata@esteri.it.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n 3. PRESENTATION OF SPONSORSHIP OFFERS<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n Expressions of interest from interested enterprises and entities should be submitted, within 10th of May 2018, by ordinary postal mail at the Italian Embassy in Doha address (P.O. Box 4811 – Qatar University Area, Zone Al Torfa no. 68, Street no. 870 (Al-Ghaf) and plot no. 31 Al Jamiaa St, Doha, Qatar), or by e-mail at the address doha.ambasciata@esteri.it using the specific form \u201cAttachment A\u201d, also attesting:<\/p>\n \u2022 the inexistence of conditions of impossibility to bargain with the Public Administration as well as inexistence of any other situation considered by the law detrimental or limitative of the bargaining capacity (see art. 38 D.lgs. n. 163\/2006); 4. SPONSORSHIP OFFERS EVALUATION<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n Sponsorship offers will be evaluated by the Embassy staff in compliance with criteria required by current law, in a framework of legality, efficiency and transparency of the administrative action. Therefore sponsorship offers are to be considered not binding for the Embassy for the purposes of formalization of the contract.<\/p>\n The Embassy reserves the faculty not to accept sponsorship offers when:<\/p>\n a) retains that it could generate a conflict of interest with its activity; Furthermore, sponsorship will be deemed excluded when concerning:<\/p>\n a) propaganda of political, trade, philosophic or religious nature; 5. SIGNING OF THE SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n Offers will be formalized with a specific contract signed between the responsible of the procedure (Head of Mission) and the sponsor company\u2019s legal representative.<\/p>\n 6. TREATMENT OF DATA<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n All the proposers, in accordance with D.Lgs. n. 196\/2003, give their consent to the treatment of personal data for the exclusive purpose of administrative and accounting management. b) promotion of the company logo, in a position of maximum visibility, on paper or digital advertising material, with specimens to be sent in a sufficient number to the sponsors, in connection with the Italian National Day celebrations;
c) projection of the company logo, in a position of maximum visibility, on the screens during the Italian National Day celebrations;
d) special mention of the sponsor in the Head of Mission\u2019s speech during the Italian National Day celebrations;
e) participation of a representative of the sponsor to the cake-cutting ceremony during the Italian National Day celebrations;
f) possibility to distribute company\u2019s promotional material during the event;
g) n. 5 invitations for sponsor\u2019s VIP guests (the sponsor will be required to notify in advance the names to the Embassy for security clearance).<\/p>\n
b) promotion of the company logo, in a position of high visibility, on paper or digital advertising material, with specimens to be sent in a sufficient number to the sponsors, in connection with the Italian National Day celebrations;
c) projection of the company logo, in a position of high visibility, on the screens in the area that will host the Italian National Day celebrations;
d) n. 3 invitations for sponsor\u2019s VIP guests (the sponsor will be required to notify in advance the names to the Embassy for security clearance).<\/p>\n
b) promotion of the company logo on digital advertising material during the event.<\/p>\n
\u2022 the inexistence of impediments arising from the \u201cantimafia\u201d regulation or arising from the submission to preventing measures (if applicable);
\u2022 the inexistence of bankruptcy proceedings;
\u2022 not being member of any organization of political, trade, philosophic or religious nature.<\/p>\n
b) recognizes in the advertising message a possible prejudice or harm to its image or to its initiatives;
c) retains that the offer is contrary to the general principles of Italian legal system or forbidden by the Italian law;
d) considers the offer unacceptable due to general reasons of unsuitability.<\/p>\n
b) advertisement aimed at or linked to the production or distribution of pornographic material or material with a sexual background;
c) offensive messages, including expressions of extremism, racism, hate, threat or intolerance and, in general, all the messages considered contrary to the law and the general principles of Italian legal system.<\/p>\n
