After the delivery in Seattle, on the 11th of May,\u00a0during the Everett&#8217;s &#8220;Boeing Future Flight\u201d\u009d event, the aircraft landed this morning\u00a0at Malpensa Airport in Milan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Air Italy is the first Italian air company to be equipped with\u00a0a 737 MAX 8. This is the first of about 50 new aircrafts that will be part of the Air Italy fleet by 2022, as well as the first of the 20 new Boeing 737 MAX that will be delivered in the next three years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new aircraft Boeing 737 MAX offers modern and spacious cabins and a major efficiency in consumptions. This aircraft can also provide a Business Class cabin and will replace the Boeing 737NG of Air Italy fleet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Onboard there were today representatives of Air Italy and Qatar Airways,\u00a0besides the CEO of Qatar Airways, Akbar Al Baker: the Chairman of Alisarda and AQA Holding, Marco Rigotti, Sultan Allana representing Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED) and AQA Holding and the Chairman of Air Italy, Francesco Violante.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At their arrival in Milan,\u00a0they were\u00a0welcomed by the Ambassador of Italy\u00a0to Qatar, Pasquale Salzano and the Ambassador of Qatar\u00a0to Italy, Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Maiki Al Jehni, the President of SEA Airports of Milan, Pietro Modiano, and the President of Boeing Italy, Antonio De Palmas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Article <a title=\"AdnKronos\" href=\"http:\/\/www.meteoweb.eu\/2018\/05\/air-italy-debutto-a-malpensa-per-primo-737-max\/1093387\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AdnKronos<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The first Air Italy 737 Max officially debuted.
