Italian Transport Minister Delrio visits Qatar

The Italian Minister of Infrastructures and Transport Graziano Delrio, on the invitation of his Qatar counterpart, took part in the inauguration of the new “Hamad” Port on September 5th. During his stay in Doha, the Minister also had a courtesy meeting with H.H. the Emir of the State of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad al Thani. Minister Delrio also met with Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister, Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al-Mahmoud, Minister of Transport, Jassim Seif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, the President of Public Works Authority, Saad bin Ahmad Al Muhannadi and the Group CEO of Qatar Airways Akbar Al Baker.
